Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Capital Markets was 5,000m2 of refurbishment converting the first floor of Thames Court from general office into a high tech 200 person dealer room. The building had been chosen due to it’s large open plan column free space – saying that it was still very tight and there was not a lot of tolerance in the setting out of the desks that splayed slightly round to face the Thames. We worked very closely with the client to achieve a layout and design that brought them into the 21st century. The dealer room was surrounded by meeting rooms each with tailored meeting tables incorporating all the latest gadgets to impress. Additionally there were client dining and catering facilities. Since the successful completion of Thames Court we have been working with RBC on the refurbishment of their old building for other departments plus we have also been recommended and have completed successful projects for RBC Global Private Banking and RBC Dexia in both 77 and 71 Queen Victoria Street.
